What started as a way to get fit, soon became a way of life. Winnie lived a life of juggling deadlines with her architectural studies. In 2012 she discovered Yoga and since then finds herself faithfully on the mat every day, re-establishing alignment between mind and body; and experiencing the growing joy in the heart. Winnie realised that this is the path she wants to lead – of the journey of sharing the bounty and blessings of yoga.
Winnie sees each practice as a little dance composed of mindfulness, breath, movement and freedom. Fluidity comes with balance between strength and flexibility. Winnie believes that yoga mirrors our lives and the real practice takes place beyond the mats. It is a practice of everyday application and with awareness of such we grow.
